Perhaps I don't need to point out that Ken just wasn't all there tonight. Yet his memory persists of course and he is never far enough from our thoughts. Take care Ken. We don't blame you for seeking appreciation elsewhere. It was inevitable that, "Someday" it would come to this.
Do we need a new house band? I fancy that there are times when we rather miss it. Such a group of 2, 3, or 4 core members could lead a sing-a-long to fill the unforgiving minute with well known popular stuff for all to join in with. Percussionists, girly backing singers, instrumentalists, lead singers, - everyone.
A small starting repertoire might be gradually expanded to allow development of quality over time. Could be very useful for when we go en-mass to visit another club. We don't - oh well then we could.
