Being Friday the Twenty-Fourth Day of March, 2017 ...

Well, now we see a wall with a new window ...

The front doors will have to wait.

Look who came along ...

Wonderful to see you, Gigi!

We were very sorry to learn of Berry's recent suffering, and sent him and Brenda our very warmest wishes.
In Berry's absence, Mike bravely occupied the seat of authority.
He advised about the dangers of swimming with mythical beasts.

The top half was alright ...

Max serenaded Sylvia in this fashion ...

This makes you sweeter.

Mike discovered a terminated mephitis mephitis  ...

You can feel it in your olfactory.

Other musical offerings were more savoury ...
Holiness was invoked as Debbie hailed the Virgin Mary ...

Ken sang a pearl of wisdom ...
"True friendship is gold ..."

Yes, Ken really did write that!

Finally we departed assured of the existence of lunar life ...

Thou hast well drunken ...

And now for the advance notices ...

With the major rebuilding work complete, we are fairly certain that our weekly occupation of the Guide Hall is secure for the next few weeks, but, as the front doors have yet to be replaced, we must continue to enter around the back.

Unless you received an email stating otherwise, you can assume that all shall be well tomorrow, (31st March,) and all Fridays throughout April.

There will be a cancellation on 26th May, as the Guides will be using the hall. This information will be circulated nearer the time.

We have been aware for some time that the Guides plan refurbishment of the kitchen during August, during which month we will not be able to use the hall.
Fear not!
We have secured temporary use of the Chidham & Hambrook Village Hall on Friday evenings throughout August.
Confirmation and directions will be notified in due course.

Being Friday the 10th of March, 2017 ...

If you look carefully through the raindrops you will discern the beginnings of a new wall ...

UPDATE:
The hall will be suitable for our occupation on Friday, 17th of March.
