I recently heard from our friend, Gigi, in South Africa.
She had a close encounter with an elephant.

The vehicle is somewhat dented.
Gigi, recovering from extensive bruising, sends her love and good wishes to us all.

Dear me! I'd have thought that the redoubtable Gigi would have been more than a match for even an elephant. It must have caught her off-guard. I hope that Gigi recovers quickly from her encounter. It'll make for an exciting entry in the diary, anyway! Please send an entry for the blog, Gigi!
