Canal Trip, Quiz Clues #3 & #4

Now, this one, #3, is easy ...

Contestants should be aware that these clues will appear in no particular order and bear only obtuse reference to the questions yet to be asked.

Here's #4 ...

No, the name of this historic vessel is NOT the answer.

This is beginning to remind me of that classic Two Ronnies 'mastermind' sketch: "Give the correct answer to the question I asked before the last one!"

"these clues will appear in no particular order and bear only obtuse reference to the questions yet to be asked" So, what's the point of all this? We are to guess the answers to questions -and we also have to guess the questions - or just wait until the Canal Trip, by which time we'll have forgotten all about these blogposts. Can we have some more pics of scantily-clad females, please?

I have already told you that it will be a hard quiz. These clues are simply pointers in the direction of some preliminary research that people might like to undertake. I will have hard copies of most of the images available for distribution before we embark.
By then it will be too late.
There is one question/image that I have chosen to omit on the grounds of good taste. However, I invite PSM to look at http://st-anley.blogspot.com/2011/05/what-is-function-of-that-barrel-shaped.html
