Quiz Clues: Final Answer?

Just when I thought I'd finished compiling the quiz, and verifying the answers, it came into my mind that a tie-breaker might be necessary.

Well, the peg-leg picture is called 'ahab' (which I deduced anyway) - does that help?

Are these quiz questions about imaginary things, as well as real ones, then?

Yes, PSM, both images can be found at Wikipedia, but that is NOT the answer to either question.
'Peg-leg' may be a figment of one author's imagination, but he features in a real novel.
In view of PSM's assiduous research, I expect him to achieve full marks in the quiz and run away with the highly desirable prize.
