Being Friday the 27th day of November, 2015 ...

There are occasions when confusion appears to reign at the City Folk Club.
Those occasions usually arise on the fourth Friday of the month when Berry takes the chair ...

Notwithstanding we arrived to discover the hall decorated in festive mode ...

Lynda took us to fields of destruction ...

... while Phil worked on the railway ...

Dawn took comfort in the arms of a celestial being ...

Mave lamented about dirt and finding rodents in her pies ...

Bob's guitar-playing is regrettably temporarily disabled...

We wish him a speedy recovery.

During the interval Phil's magnificent instrument was much admired ...

Roger visited an Irish castle ...

I wish I was ...

And here's Roger in the early hours of the morning ...

Waiting for sunrise with
four hours to go.

We considered the work of Thomas Tallis, Ralph Vaughan Williams and an unknown Sottish bard ...

All long the ladies sit and weep ...

Paul led us in the closing number ...

Now, should that be heaving or hauling your anchor?

IMPORTANT REMINDER

We will not be meeting next Friday, 4th December, as the Guides will be in residence.

Back to normal on 11th December.

Then on 18th December we will be holding our
